Vintage silk Fukuro Obi, richly woven with metallic gold threads, featuring  cherry blossom and wave motifs. 

  • Cherry blossom: Symbolising impermanence and renewal
  • Wave: Symbolising tranquillity and continuous good fortune

This obi is one-sided with a decorative front panel and backing. All Fukuro Obis have a blank space on the main side, as formally it is meant to not get swallowed into the knot.

  • 100% Silk (Excluding gold threads where applicable)
  • Made in Japan, hand-finished in the UK
Care
  • Hang to rest. Steam gently on a low silk setting with a cloth buffer to remove creases
  • Do not machine wash, soak or scrub, no tumble drying
  • Dry clean only
