Woven in Japan with gold metallic thread, this vintage Fukuro Obi has been reconfigured in the UK into a piece your home can actually live with: On a chair or a sofa, where the light catches it differently by the hour.
The phoenix and winding vine (Karakusa), featured on the Obi has been a symbol in Japanese culture for centuries. Auspicious beginnings and eternity.
